"The Edge"
Artist Statement
I chose this image as my best because I think it's one of few that actually takes a moment to register how the illusion was done. The spacing and perspective worked out pretty well. I also thought the concept was kind of interesting, of jumping into the bell of the French horn.
In terms of design elements, I suppose viewpoint and depth were the most prominent ones used, due to the need to make the perspective convincing. The positioning of everything had to be meticulous for viewpoint, and a fair amount of depth makes the sizes plausible.
And tech-wise, I had an ISO of 1600, aperture of 3.5, and a shutter speed of 1/250.
